Wedge fever. It's getting me, all over me.

Nao vejo a hora de poder usar sandalias, kaftans, roupas de primavera. Tive 1 ano de intenso verao na minha vida. Verao indiano, que para muitos pode ser um must have mas para mim aquele calorao todo foi infernal. Em todos os sentidos. Aridez demais nos deixa confusos, calor demais sao serve para poder usar roupas e sapatos legais. Imagina soh... viver de rasteirinhas e havaianas. Assim sendo soh na praia, trabalhar no calor indiano eh coisa de louco mesmo. Entao eu mereco essa minha Spring Break fora de epoca. Quero usar muita anabela e umas plataformas legais. Eu AMO anabela mas nao gosto em botas. Nao curto mesmo, eu acho brega. Mas tem quem goste, do contrario nao haveria producao das mesmas. Sou prova viva de que precisamos usar apenas coisas que gostamos e combinem conosco. Meia-calca rendada tambem nao combina comigo, mas eu acho ateh bonito, nao tenho aversao como tenho com as botinhas "que nao atolam", como costumamos chamar... News to come, pretty soon. Wedge fever

I wanna wear sandals. Wedges. I miss Spring, miss Summer.
Wegdes are cooler as sandals, my opinion...Maybe a shoe would do for me... like this beauty here :-)

Winter wedges ou... botas com solado anabela!!

Tenho visto muitas botas com salto anabela nesse inverno, tendencia que nao eh de agora.

Mas me fica sempre a pergunta: quando um salto anabela comeca a ficar pesado demais?

Eu amo anabelas, amo mesmo. Mas chata como eu sou, uso mesmo no verao. Acho que anabela tem tudo a ver com o clima.

No inverno, quando os canos sobem e os materiais ficam mais pesados, temos que cuidar para nao cair no exagero e caricatura.

Olhem os modelos e me digam: o que eh legal e o que nao eh legal??

I've been seeing a lot of wedges this Winter, and this trend is not new.

What I always ask is: when does it start to become too much?

Don't take me wrong, I love wedges, I really do. However I am way too picky and I only wear them in the Summer. I think wedges are very "summery".

In the Winter, when materials get heavier and shafts higher, we have to be careful not to exagerate.

Um bom par de botas pretas... item obrigatorio!! Eu sempre sugiro isso, se a pessoa ainda nao tem botas, um par preto, cano alto, salto medio eh um item que serah usado por muitos anos... Investimento mesmo!

Achei esse dois modelos muito parecidos, um da Dumond e outro da Albanese, ambos com efeito matelasse no cano. 

Nao sei em quem se inspiraram ou quem se inspirou em quem... mas vale a compra. Uma bota preta eh tudo!!

A good pair of black boots, a must have item! This is what I always suggest when someone doesn't have any boots yet and wants to start with one item only: a pair of black ones, high shatf, medium heel... you will be wearing it for years, a true investment!

I found these two VERY similar styles from Brazilian brands DUMOND and ALBANESE. Both use the matelasse effect on the shaft. Nice touch...

I can't say what their inspiration was or who was inspired by who in this case as both are very similar. Anyhow, it's a good buy. A black boot is timeless!!
